The FluiX differential oil cooler cover replaces the factory differential cover on all 2015+ Mustang models. The FluiX cover has integrated cooling ribs, which increases the heat transfer by convection to the air passing through below the car. During normal driving, the FluiX cover reduces axle oil temperatures by about 7.5 C or 15 F. During spirited driving the rear axle temperatures are reduced by 15 C or 30 F.
The cover is casted out of highest quality aluminum alloy in Germany. All fittings, drain plugs and bungs are in the factory location. This means that the cover fits all 6th gen Mustang models without any custom work required.
The FluiX differential cover includes an extra oil drain bung, at the same location of the OEM GT350 differential cover. This allows the customer to optionally install an additional external oil cooler if required. If not required, an additional OEM oil plug needs to be installed in that location.
Differential Oil Cooler Cover
The differential oil cooler cover is offered with the option of extra taps where an external oil cooler can be fitted to. We can also provide the required 1/2" NPT to dash fitting adapters as an option. Choose the following options if you want:
- not required (no extra taps)
- taps only (if you want the provisions for an external oil cooler but will supply your own fitting adapters)
- -06 adapters inlet/outlet (includes the provisions for an external oil cooler and two 1/2" NPT to -06 adapters)
- -08 adapters inlet/outlet (includes the provisions for an external oil cooler and two 1/2" NPT to -08 adapters)
